An umpire in field hockey is a person with the authority to make decisions on a hockey pitch in accordance with the rules of the game. Umpires are an essential part of the game. Their first priority is to make sure that the game is being played safely. Their second priority is to make sure that everyone is having fun. You do not need any prior experience and training will be provided.
The Waterloo Warriors Field Hockey Team is pleased to announce that we are running a Back to School Field Hockey Camp held at Warrior Field from August 26th-28th. The camp will run from 8:30am-12:00pm and includes 2.5 hours of on field instruction. Campers will be assigned into groups based on their incoming skill level. All campers are also invited to stay on Wednesday August 28th from 1:00-3:00pm to watch the 2019 Waterloo Warriors in an exhibition game against the Western Mustangs.

Fall Skills will be starting Monday, September 9th at Woodside Park in Kitchener from 7-8pm. The Program is open to players from grade 6- grade 12. This is a 7 week program running from September 9th to October 21st. The cost is $75.
Registration will open the last week of August.
Note: September 9th will be held 8-9pm with the rest of the Monday practices being held at 7-8pm.
KWOH will be offering Indoor Field Hockey this winter. The season will begin in November and end in March. More information will be available in the early fall.
KWOH is a co-ed field hockey club consisting of both house league and competitive teams. Our house league program is for boys and girls U9 and U11 and female only U13, U15 and U18. Our 2019 house league program will run from the last week of April to June 22.
In the Fall, we offer a weekly Skills program for 12-18 year old girls.
In November we move inside to the gym and play Indoor Field Hockey. This is a much faster game and allows girls to continue enjoying the sport they love all year long. The Indoor season consists of a league that plays November – March at RIM Park.
